OUR CREATION PROCESS
Inspiration and Conceptualization
The process often begins with a phase of reflection and inspiration. We draw from various sources, such as nature, art, memories, and current trends. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs, target market, and the story they want to tell through the fragrance, or the emotions they wish to convey.
Preparation of the Specifications
In collaboration with the client, we establish detailed specifications that include technical requirements, regulatory constraints, the raw materials to be used, and the type of fragrance (body perfume, eau de toilette, eau de parfum, etc.).
Selection of Raw Materials
We then define the raw materials that will compose the fragrance. These materials can be essential oils, absolutes, resins, or synthetic molecules. We regularly source new raw materials: we have a wide range of notes that allow us to precisely meet each new need.
Creation of the Formula
The formulation phase of the fragrance then takes place, achieving the perfect balance between the top, middle, and base notes.
Top Notes
The first scents perceived, often fresh and volatile.
Middle Notes
The scents that appear after the top notes evaporate, often more floral or spicy.
Base Notes
The scents that appear last and linger the longest, often woody or musky.
Sampling and Evaluation
Once the initial formula is created, we prepare samples for evaluation. This evaluation is done at different times (immediately, after a few hours, after several days) to ensure that the fragrance evolves pleasantly over time.
Tests and Adjustments
The fragrance undergoes various tests to verify its stability, compatibility with the skin and other finished products, and compliance with regulations. Depending on the results, adjustments may be necessary to perfect the composition.
