FRAGRANT COMPOSITIONS FOR COSMETICS

When we create a fragrance composition intended for cosmetic products, we adopt a specific approach to ensure that the fragrance integrates perfectly with the finished product and complies with regulations: whether it is designed for sensitive skin (children, pregnant women, specific indications…), or a more general public product, the formulation involves a more or less particular complexity. The dosages and facets proceed from a subtle balance so that the final product can be used in a specific context: sensitivity, treatments, photosensitivity, rinsed product or not…

Our mission lies in achieving a subtle harmony between the ingredients to preserve the olfactory notes while respecting the limits imposed on the ready-to-market product.

NOTRE CHEMINEMENT

Comprehension of Technical Constraints

Cosmetic products, such as creams, lotions, shampoos, and makeup, have specific formulas that can interact with fragrance components. We take these constraints into account to select compatible raw materials.

Selection of the Raw Materials

Ingredients used in perfumes for cosmetics must be non-irritating and safe for the skin. Our choice falls on raw materials approved by health regulators, which comply with the guidelines of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). The cosmetic properties are then carefully examined to meet the quest for comfort, softness, repair, or nourishment.

Powdery floral, with notes of delicate white petals and cotton flowers, are examples of powdery floral trails. Fruits also make their way into this olfactory fresco, with, for example, tones of pear and almond. Aquatic green or aromatic citrus complement soothing and delicate scents that will blend into a balm or serum to give it an olfactory identity, which will play a considerable role in the final consumer’s choice.

Balancing Olfactives Notes

Compatibility Tests

We conduct thorough tests to ensure that the fragrance does not alter the texture, color, or efficacy of the cosmetic product. These tests include stability trials and sensory evaluations to verify the fragrance’s longevity in the finished product.

Regulatory Compliance

Les produits cosmétiques sont soumis à des réglementations strictes. Notre expertise garantit également que la composition parfumée respecte toutes les normes en vigueur, telles que le Règlement Européen sur les Cosmétiques (CE) N° 1223/2009.

 Fine Adjustments

Based on the results of compatibility tests and customer feedback, we can adjust the formula to improve the olfactory perception and stability of the fragrance in the cosmetic product.
